Let’s face it, generally speaking 2008 was a pretty bad year financially.

The U.S. officially dipped into a recession, home values dropped as much as 40% in some areas of the nation, the mortgage industry is in major trouble and foreclosures are increasing at an alarming rate, unemployment skyrocketed, many people lost the vast majority of their retirement savings in the stock market….the list just goes on and on.

The more you watch the news, the more gloom and doom you see reported.

Gloom & doom IS around the corner for a lot of folks if it hasn’t hit already. It’s a real mess out there and lots of folks are pretty scared.

Personally, I had a pretty good year. I don’t work for anybody and most of the money I’ve made for approximately the past two years has been through selling products and services on the internet. I happen to do it full time but lot’s of people are making “spending” cash online as they continue to work for their employer.

I used to be in direct sales so I know what it’s like to “cold call”, make prospecting calls, “convince” people to buy stuff, etc….

But…I don’t do that online.

You don’t have to do that kind of thing either…IF you know how and WHAT to market online.

In fact, I hardly EVER talk to anybody. The internet allows me to put my stuff out there and people buy. Either they find value in what I’m selling or they don’t. If they do, I make a sale.

Ok, I must admit, video isn’t my strongest suit.  I usually just ramble on with no real agenda and have a bad habit of leaving out some key points.
