It does not make much sense joining and promoting Traffic Exchange sites in singles.

A downline builder does it much better. When you use a DLB, the chances are there that your downline will join under you in at least a few programs.

In the event that he does not, his own downline will be joining that program under you, since it will be your URL remaining on the pages he is promoting.

Either way, these downlines build up extra traffic for you from the referral traffic bonuses you receive.

In time, it does add up, some say even up to the level that you may no more need to personally browse in order to have enough traffic to your sites.

Where there are upgrades, you may even have some money thrown into it all.

I call that leveraging your traffic on your downline.  These services include, Traffic Hoopla, Traffic Tornado, RealTime Rick’s TEbuilder, TextadBuilder3info, etc

Try them out and see for yourself.

It is such a shame that most of us never get this advice till we have made the mistake.

So…

You’ve acquired some PLR content, huh?

But how do you use it to best advantage while avoiding roadblocks? Search engines are trying to feed surfers relevant results. To do that, along with other things, they have to scan the on-page content. If you think that having the same content on two different sites gives you two chances to be ranked high in the results, think again. They got wise to that trick a long time ago.

Search engines have complicated algorithms that can be difficult to reverse engineer. But one thing is certain: if the exact same content is used across multiple websites, you can suffer a duplicate content penalty. Rewriting PLR content is the best way to deal with that problem. It takes a little more work, but it’s a sure bet.

It’s difficult to know exactly how much to change, but even changing only 10% of the content can easily put you in the clear. Out of a 500 word article, that’s only 50 words – less than one paragraph’s worth over all. Pretty easy.

You could avoid the duplicate content issue entirely by writing every article from scratch. But that’s time consuming and not everyone has the interest or ability. To run a successful site, you have lots of things to do every day. Whatever time you spend writing, you’re not doing those other things.

Now, keep in mind, that lot’s of people are confused by what “duplicate content” is in the eyes of the search engines.  As far as I know, from my own research and from consulting with other SEO experts, duplicate content is considered a bad thing only if the content is exactly the same AND if it is on the same domain…

Read that paragraph again.

I mean think about it for a moment.  Duplicate content is EVERYWHERE!  Just look at all of the major news sites who syndicate the SAME exact news story from The Associated Press.  Are those sites getting a “duplicate content” penalty for broadcasting the same news feed?  NO…of course not.

So, duplicate content isn’t the culprurit…

EXACT duplicate content is though.

If you publish an article on a web page without changing it at all, you run the “risk” of search engines considering it “duplicate” if you have very little content on the page OTHER than the PLR content you are publishing.  It you are posting an article to your blog…guess what?  That article is pretty much the only content on the page when someone clicks on the article itself.  So, in YOUR case of using PLR articles to publish on the web, it would be a good idea to chance some stuff up.

But, for all arguments sake…duplicate content is best described as the same content on the same domain.  However, since search engines are constantly changing with their own interpretations of “duplicate content” it’s   better to be safe than sorry by changing up some of your PLR content.

Starting from a blank page is much tougher. It’s a lot easier to re-write something than to write from just a topic idea. Changing a phrase here or an example there is easy and the writing that’s already on the page stimulates you to think of alternatives.

Tailoring content has another advantage. You can give your site a unique ‘flavor’ by modifying the PLR article to something that sounds more like how you would write.

When you do that with a number of articles, you are guaranteed to differentiate your site from your competitor. That keeps vistors and customers loyal, because then you are the only one in the world with exactly that content.

Think of your PLR articles as if they are movie scripts and you are the actor.   After all, there are lots of actors in the world, but there’s only one Harrison Ford.  Great actors take the script and make it their own.  They add their own body language, their own facial expressions, and their overall tone and delivery of the script varies.  Well…the only way to do this in written form is to take an article and add YOUR own tone.  No need to re-write it…just make it your own.

Quality counts, too. You may not have the ability or interest to write great content, content that attracts visitors and backlinks. Even if you can, it takes time to do well. If you don’t take the time, you’ll end up with content that isn’t polished. That turns people off. Not a good business strategy.

It’s much quicker and easier to modify good quality content to avoid a duplicate content penalty and make it your own than it is to fix up junk. You can polish good chrome to a shine in a few minutes. If it’s rusty, you’ll spend all day!

PLR content vendors vary a lot. Niche Content Packages, one of the best quality PLR sites and online since 2005, hires the best professional writers to give you the best content. The PLR articles offered there will give you a great starting point.  They have been a content provider for hundreds of websites, blogs and newsletters.  The offer fresh, quality, on-topic PLR articles across several niches.

The Niche Content Packages is also a great place to go if you write PLR articles yourself.  They will purchase your material.  If you are a writer or simply someone who needs good quality Private Label Rights articles (in just about any niche) you really should look at Niche Content Packages.

Oh, and don’t forget, I have a FREE PLR club that you can join.  Not only do I supply you with PLR articles but I also give you access to other high quality Private Label Rights products as well.  Software, ebooks, courses, etc…all that you can take and put YOUR name to sell yourself.

My membership focuses mainly on the internet marketing niche so if you are outside of this niche, you should consider the Niche Content Packages I mentioned above.  My articles probably won’t do you much good outside of the IM Niche.
