It was very inspiring to note how he persevered despite all the rejection.
However, notably missing to me at least, amidst all the hoopla about Rocky’s success, and how he bought back his dog for $15, 000, after selling it for $25.00, is any further mention of the wife. It would be nice to hear that he gave his wife some financial blessings after all he put her through.
However, maybe it’s just not in the story. I just find it odd to mention her sufferings, then when the guy hits it big, to only talk about all his success, and the money he lavished on the dog. Makes me wonder if he helped out the wife, at all. Just thought a little mention in the story would have been nice that’s all. It’s also something for marketeers to remember when they get rich, and famous, to remember to treat people kindly, and see them as people, not just dollar signs, or stepping stones. Thanks.
