Joint Venture.

It’s a term that’s used pretty loosly in my opinion.  It means different things to different people.  It all depends on who you are talking to.

Affiliate Joint Ventures

Independent internet marketers use the term ALL the time.  When they have their own product to sell, like an e-book or maybe a software program, they look for “joint venture” partners to help them promote their product.

Really, they’re simply looking for AFFILIATES to promote their product for a commission.

So, yeah, affiliates could be referred to as joint venture partners.  As a product owner, you are partnering with your affiliates (jointly) but only compensating them on the results that they produce.

It’s a two way street.  The product owner creates an income opportunity for people to promote an existing product and the affiliate partner creates an income opportunity for the product owners by promoting to an audience that may have been immediately out of reach to the product owner.

It’s a pretty idealistic situation.

Business Joint Ventures

A business joint venture is a little different.

It’s more along the lines of a traditional business partnership.

A good example of two companies doing a joint venture is Ericsson & Telstra…two companies combining their strengths to create a product jointly.

Here’s a snippet for Ericsson’s press release:

Ericsson and Telstra world’s first to deliver Mobile Broadband at 21Mbps in commercial network

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) and Telstra have achieved an industry first: the successful activation of HSPA Evolution functionality capable of peak network speeds up to 21 Mbps into the Telstra Next G(TM) commercial network and the world’s first data call on the newly-enabled network. For the first time, a commercial network makes use of the enhanced, standardized improvements called HSPA Evolution.

This enhancement adds a new dimension to broadband experience with the capability for significantly faster internet browsing and file download, even faster than many fixed broadband connections. With HSPA Evolution, operators will increase the capacity in the networks and reduce the costs to deliver Mobile Broadband services.

Michael Rocca, Group Managing Director, Telstra Networks & Services says, “HSPA Evolution is live and working for the first time anywhere in the world in a commercial network on the Telstra Next G(TM) network in Australia,” Michael says. “Ericsson and Telstra are seeing great results ahead of upcoming trials and device deployment.”

The press release goes on for a little bit longer but for this post, I didn’t want to bore you with the entire release.  I just wanted to give you a real life example of two company’s coming together and using their strengths for a true business-to-business Joint Venture.

So, here’s the point to all of this…

To begin making money online or to increase the income you’re already making, the fastest way to do it is through joint ventures.

Joint ventures are a win-win scenario.  Where else can you make money on a product that you don’t own without being an employee?

Here’s a really good audio about Joint Ventures, how to contact people and establish some mutually benfeicial business relationships:

Here’s a network of people just itching to conduct joint ventures.

The JOINT VENTURE PARTNERSHIP

I encourage you to check it out. Try it for a month. There is a ton of opportunity there.

We’ll talk more about JV’s in future editions of “The How To Project”.  Until then, get out there and network.  You never know what opportunity will show up!
